My name is Jonasz Staszek. I help companies to plan optimally using AI.
To date, I have worked with a large Europan railway carrier to help them optimize their entire planning chain. I have also worked with the Polish grid operator, supporting them with their optimization problems.
You can also find me on LinkedIn.
My professional home is currently the Analytics and Optimization Lab, Technische Universität Nürnberg.
In my previous professional life, I worked as a consultant for McKinsey and Company, serving clients from the insurance sector.
I have defended my doctoral dissertation in Applied Math at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (25.01.2023). I also studied Management and International Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics.
My research interests focus on pure binary and combinatorial optimization and their applications, especially in logistics.
Outside of work, I am a proud husband and a father of two. Sometimes I also lift weights, run long distances or help people solve their Gurobi-related puzzles.
